Landline Call Forwarding Guide

This guide explains how to enable and disable call forwarding on landlines for major U.S. carriers. Dial codes may vary slightly by region.

AT&T Landline

Enable Forwarding

  1. Pick up the handset and dial *72
  2. Enter the 10-digit TeleIQ number you want calls forwarded to
  3. Press # (if required) and wait for confirmation tone
  4. Hang up

Disable Forwarding

Dial *73 and wait for confirmation

Verizon Landline

Enable Forwarding

  1. Pick up the phone and dial *72
  2. Enter the 10-digit TeleIQ number
  3. Wait for confirmation tone, then hang up

Carrier Portal Method (Recommended for Business)

  1. Log in to your carrier's website (AT&T, Verizon, Spectrum, Xfinity, Cox, Frontier, etc.)
  2. Navigate to Voice or Phone Settings
  3. Locate Call Forwarding settings
  4. Enter the TeleIQ number
  5. Save changes and confirm activation

Business VoIP Systems

For RingCentral, 8x8, Nextiva, Ooma, and similar systems:

  1. Log in to your Admin Dashboard
  2. Select the user or main line
  3. Edit Call Handling or Forwarding rules
  4. Enter the TeleIQ number as the destination
  5. Save changes

Test Your Setup

After activation, call your landline from another phone to confirm calls are forwarding correctly to TeleIQ.
